Coffee boutic
Description
Open the door of the shop and smell the freshly roasted coffee.
It almost seems like a time machine that takes you back to the roasting of the past and to the clouds of aromas that enveloped, intoxicated, conquered you.
And from this very fragrant story comes Boutic Caffè, which was born in 1971, in the midst of the oil crisis and recession. Hard times, in which even two less letters on the neon sign were already a considerable saving. So here is that the French word “boutique”, chosen to communicate the high quality of coffee, is simplified in Boutic.
Today Boutic Caffè is run by Paolo Di Feo and his family, who have kept the spirit, machines and methods of artisanal roasting, one of the few remaining faithful to traditional processing.
Green coffee comes from the most suitable lands in the world and is roasted using a 70's roaster. From here the blends, the coffees are born:
- Guatemala Huehuetenango - Single origin Slow Food Presidium
- Ethiopia Harenna - Single origin Slow Food Presidium
- Mexico Maragogype
- Organic
- Fairtrade
- Decaffeinated
And after roasting, even the tasting takes place with a vintage espresso machine: a Faema E61, from the 60s, restored in the company's internal laboratory.
