Giovanni and marella agnelli art gallery
Description
Suspended on the roof of the Lingotto, there is the "casket”Designed by Renzo Piano to house the collection of works of art belonging to the lawyer Giovanni Agnelli and his wife Marella.
The museum houses works that range from the eighteenth century to the mid-twentieth century: there are twenty-three paintings that can be admired, including paintings by Matisse, Balla, Severini, Modigliani, Tiepolo, Canaletto, Bellotto, Picasso, Renoir and Manet, while there are two sculptures by Antonio Canova to be able to contemplate.
Below the casket, another five floors are dedicated to temporary exhibitions, a reference room, an educational center, offices and a bookshop in order to satisfy the wishes of every visitor.
